This Privacy Policy explains how Runovate LLC ("Runovate", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you play Wahed Shai! (the "Game") or visit wahedshai.com (the "Website"). It applies to every version of the Game, including the Android app (Google Play), the iOS app (Apple App Store), the web version, and the version available on or through TikTok (together, the "Services").

By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Services.

1. Who we are

Runovate LLC is the "controller" of the personal information described in this Privacy Policy, except where a third party (such as Google, Apple or TikTok) acts as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.

2. Summary

• You can play the Game without creating an account with us.
• Your game progress (coins, levels, settings) is stored on your device or with the platform you play on.
• The Game and Website are free and supported by advertising, including ads from Google (AdMob and AdSense). Our advertising partners use cookies and device identifiers to show and measure ads, which may be personalized where the law allows and where you have given any consent the law requires.
• If you play on TikTok, we may receive basic TikTok profile information that you authorize (such as an anonymous user ID, display name and profile picture). We never receive your TikTok password, messages, contacts or videos, and we never post on your behalf.
• We do not sell your personal information for money.
• You can ask us to access or delete your data at any time by emailing adham@runovate.net.
• The Services are not directed to children under 13.

3. Information we collect

3.1 Information you give us

• Support and contact: If you email us, we receive your email address, your message, and anything you choose to include (for example, screenshots).

3.2 Game data

• Progress and settings: Your game progress, virtual currency balance, items, scores, achievements and settings. This information is normally stored locally on your device (or in your browser's local storage on the web version) or in the storage provided by the platform you play on (for example, TikTok). If we offer cloud saving or leaderboards, this data may also be stored on our servers together with an anonymous player ID.

3.3 Information collected automatically

When you use the Services, we and our partners may automatically collect:

• Device and technical information: device model, operating system and version, app version, browser type, screen size, language, time zone, and mobile network or Wi-Fi status.
• Identifiers: IP address, advertising identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID on Android or Apple's IDFA on iOS, only if you allow tracking), app-set or vendor identifiers, and cookie IDs. These are collected by our advertising partners and platforms; the Game itself does not create a separate player ID.
• Approximate location: country, region or city derived from your IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location.
• Usage and gameplay information: levels played, session length, in-game events, purchases made, ads viewed or clicked, and rewards earned.
• Diagnostics: crash reports, error logs and performance data.

3.4 Cookies and similar technologies

The Website and the web version of the Game use cookies, local storage, pixels and similar technologies to remember your preferences and game progress, keep the Services secure, measure performance, and serve and measure advertising. See Section 5 for advertising cookies and how to control them. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings; some features (such as saved progress on the web) may not work properly if you do.

3.5 Information from TikTok

If you play the Game on or through TikTok and choose to authorize it, TikTok may share with us information from your TikTok account such as:

• your TikTok user identifier for our Game (for example, an "open ID"),
• your display name, and
• your profile picture (avatar).

We use this information only to identify you within the Game, save and restore your progress, and show your name or avatar in game features such as leaderboards (if available). We do not receive your TikTok password, phone number, email address, private messages, contacts, followers list or videos. We do not post, comment or take any action on TikTok on your behalf. You can revoke the Game's access at any time in your TikTok app settings.

Your use of TikTok is also governed by TikTok's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (https://www.tiktok.com/legal/privacy-policy).

3.6 Purchases

If the Game offers in-app purchases (for example, removing ads or buying virtual coins), payments are processed by Google Play, the Apple App Store, TikTok, or another payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card or bank details. We receive only the information needed to deliver your purchase, such as a transaction ID, the item purchased, the price and currency, and the purchase status.

4. How we use information

We use information to:

1. Provide the Game: run the Game, save your progress, deliver purchases and rewards, and remember your settings.
2. Show advertising: display ads (including rewarded ads that give you in-game rewards), limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance, and prevent ad fraud. See Section 5.
3. Improve the Services: understand how players use the Game, fix bugs and crashes, and develop new features and games.
4. Provide support: answer your questions and handle your requests.
5. Keep the Services safe: detect and prevent cheating, fraud, abuse, invalid ad traffic and security incidents.
6. Comply with law: meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations and respond to lawful requests from authorities.
7. Enforce our terms: enforce our Terms and Conditions and protect our rights and the rights of our players.

We do not use your information to make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.

5. Advertising

The Services are free because they are supported by advertising. We work with Google (including Google AdMob in our apps and Google AdSense on our Website and web game) and may work with other advertising partners. When you play on TikTok, ads may also be served by TikTok and its advertising partners.

5.1 How advertising cookies and identifiers work

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
• In our mobile apps, our advertising partners use your device's advertising identifier in a similar way.
• Advertising partners may collect information such as your IP address, device identifiers, cookie IDs, approximate location, and the ads you see and interact with. They use this information to deliver, personalize (where permitted) and measure ads, and to detect fraud, under their own privacy policies.

5.2 Your advertising choices

• Google: You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings / My Ad Center at https://adssettings.google.com (or https://myadcenter.google.com).
• Other vendors (web): You may opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting https://www.aboutads.info/choices (US) or https://www.youronlinechoices.eu (EU/UK).
• Android: Go to Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads) to delete or reset your advertising ID or opt out of ads personalization.
• iOS: The Game will ask your permission before tracking you across apps and websites (App Tracking Transparency). You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• TikTok: You can manage ad personalization in your TikTok app under Settings and privacy → Ads.

If you opt out of personalized advertising, you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you (for example, based on the content of the Game or your general location).

5.3 Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we will ask for your consent before we or our advertising partners use cookies or device identifiers for personalized advertising, using a Google-certified consent management platform. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the Privacy choices option in the Game's settings menu. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.

5.4 Rewarded ads

Some ads are optional: you can choose to watch an ad to receive an in-game reward (for example, extra coins). Rewards are given only after the ad is completed. Watching rewarded ads is never required to play the Game.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as follows:

• Advertising partners: such as Google (AdMob, AdSense) and, on TikTok, TikTok and its ad partners, as described in Section 5.
• Platforms: Google Play, the Apple App Store and TikTok, as needed to distribute the Game, process purchases and provide platform features.
• Service providers: companies that help us operate the Services, such as website and server hosting (for example, Vercel), cloud storage and databases, analytics, crash reporting and email. They may use the information only to provide services to us and must protect it.
• Legal and safety reasons: if required by law, regulation, legal process or a government request, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Runovate, our players or others.
• Business transfers: if Runovate is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.
• With your consent: in any other case where you have asked us to or agreed to it.

Under some US state laws (such as California's), sharing advertising identifiers or cookie data with advertising partners for targeted advertising may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. See Section 10.3 for how to opt out.

7. Legal bases for processing (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we process your personal information on the following legal bases:

• Performance of a contract: to provide the Game and deliver purchases and rewards.
• Legitimate interests: to improve and secure the Services, prevent cheating and fraud, provide support, and show non-personalized advertising, where our interests are not overridden by your rights.
• Consent: for personalized advertising and non-essential cookies or device identifiers. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Legal obligation: to comply with applicable laws.

8. International data transfers

Runovate LLC is based in the United States, our team works from Egypt, and our service providers may process data in the United States, the European Union (for example, Germany) and other countries. These countries may have data protection laws that are different from those in your country.

When we transfer personal information internationally, we take appropriate steps to protect it, such as relying on our service providers' Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms where required.

9. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy:

• Game data stored on your device stays on your device until you delete the Game, clear your browser storage, or reset your progress.
• Game data stored on our servers (if any) is kept while you are an active player and deleted or anonymized after 24 months of inactivity, or sooner if you ask us to delete it.
• Support emails are kept for up to 24 months after your request is resolved.
• Purchase records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes (typically up to 7 years).
• Advertising partners retain data according to their own privacy policies.

10. Your rights and choices

10.1 Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy of it;
• correct inaccurate information;
• delete your personal information;
• restrict or object to certain processing, including processing for advertising;
• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
• data portability; and
• lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (for example, in Egypt, the Personal Data Protection Center under Law No. 151 of 2020; in the EU/UK, your national supervisory authority).

10.2 How to make a request or delete your data

Email adham@runovate.net with the subject line "Privacy Request" (or "Delete My Data"). Please include:

• the platform you play on (Android, iOS, web or TikTok), and
• if you play on TikTok, your TikTok username.

We may need to verify your request before acting on it. We will respond within 30 days (or sooner if required by law). We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

You can also:

• delete game data stored on your device by uninstalling the Game or clearing your browser data;
• remove the Game's access to your TikTok account in the TikTok app settings.

10.3 Additional rights for US residents (including California)

If you live in California or another US state with a consumer privacy law, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to delete or correct it; and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising.

In the last 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (such as IP address, advertising ID and cookie IDs), internet or other electronic network activity (such as gameplay and ad interactions), approximate geolocation, and commercial information (such as in-app purchase records). We collect them from you, your device and our partners for the purposes described in Section 4, and disclose them to the categories of recipients described in Section 6.

To opt out of targeted advertising, use the controls in Section 5.2, enable a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser (we honor it on the Website where technically possible), or email us at adham@runovate.net. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

11. Children's privacy

The Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13 (or under the minimum age required in your country, such as 16 in some EEA countries). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at adham@runovate.net and we will delete it.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for data in transit and storage providers that encrypt data at rest. Access to personal information is limited to people who need it to operate the Services. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Third-party services and links

The Services may contain links to, or features from, third parties such as Google, Apple and TikTok. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their privacy policies:

14. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top and, where the changes are significant, notify you in the Game or on the Website. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
